Scott Kenyon


Scott has over 20 years in sales and operations with companies ranging from a small retail startup to a large multibillion-dollar technology company. He brings a strong conviction and has demonstrated that every process can be improved and change is a necessary part of top- and bottom-line growth for any company. Whether running sales or operations, Scott always uses a customer-first lens and believes nothing is more important than Customer Experience.

Prior to joining Phunware, Scott spent over 13 yrs with Dell, Inc. in a variety of capacities in multiple locations both domestically and internationally. He began his career with Dell at their headquarters in Austin, TX but moved to Tennessee to start Dell’s new location in Nashville. His strong performance earned him an invitation to start an international location in El Salvador where his organization served both the US and Latin American markets.

Later, Scott was asked to take an assignment in Porto Alegre, Brazil as the General Manager of the Latin American Consumer direct business. During his time at Dell, Scott led large call center teams, built sales operations organizations from the ground up, and led the e-commerce business serving all of Latin America.

Before Dell, Scott started KC Sports, a sports apparel and footwear business based in Colorado. He has remained involved in the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation for the Nashville area and over the years has served as the foundation’s chairman and on a number of committees helping raise money for the cure. Scott is a proud graduate of the University of Southern Colorado with a BA in Finance and lives in Austin with his family.
