GM Audience Building & Monetization

Ian leads Phunware’s Audience Building and Monetization division. His responsibilities include:

  • Commercial and go-to-market strategy for Phunware’s Audience Building and Monetization division across US, EMEA and APAC
  • Management of sales, marketing, publisher development and operations
  • Full P&L responsibility for global audience building and US, EMEA and APAC Audience Monetization teams
  • Key customer partnerships and trading deals with media agencies and direct advertisers
    Oversight of advertising strategy for key accounts
  • Product development and media solutions
  • Management of Developer Success and supply team, covering publisher and partner development for Phunware’s platform, onboarding new SSP and exchange partners

Ian brings over 18 years of experience in executive roles in small and large digital agencies and ad tech companies. A serial entrepreneur, Ian has founded four companies and participated in five acquisitions. He also brings to Phunware expertise in operating and scaling professional services firms, having run operations and P&Ls in the US, the UK, Singapore and Brazil. He has won awards, serves on boards (poem not intended) and has given talks around the world. Ian enjoys photography, spending quality time with his two teenage boys and seeing as much of the world as possible.
