The Mobile Software Development Manager is critical to our organization to ensure that we deliver exceptionally high quality software releases to our customer both on-time and on-budget. He or she will help define both the strategy and operational execution for our developers while driving project initiatives that deliver on the Phunware vision. This open position is for a senior-level creative that is well-versed in multiple areas of multimedia content creation. Candidates must have a proven track record in all technical aspects of the process, including writing, producing, directing, editing, art design, viral marketing, asset management and digital distribution. Candidates will oversee production resources, as well as direct the creative vision of content across Phunware’s various mobile and online channels. This person will direct a staff of producers and content creators, as well as a team of video editors in order to assemble first-rate short-form video features in multiple genres.

Phunware Studios is seeking highly-qualified applicants for a Spanish-fluent preditor to help produce/edit content in our Los Angeles (Sherman Oaks) office. This open position is for a Spanish-speaking preditor who has extensive experience in music/promo/celebrity interviews, but who is creative and well-versed in multiple areas of multimedia content creation. Candidates will have strong short-form story-telling skills, a creative eye for graphics and be able to mesh his or her vision with those of the Supervising Producer and Director of Programming. You are organized, FAST and can turn around paper cuts that can be given to an editor and implemented with ease. You’re good in the field, and excel at asking the right questions the right way to get the best responses. You’re also Final Cut fluent and at the very least can put a credible stringout together. Even better if you can finish it.
